For anyone who may have missed it, Anderson Cooper recently reported on an 18-month CNN auto insurance investigation with some fairly interesting findings.
The crux of the issue is that the majority insurance companies make "claimant negotiation," ignornance, and practices deliberately designed to undercut the policy holder an integral part of their business model. Not that surprising really, but it is interesting to see exactly how the program works.
