That Volvo Cars of North America was recently named as having the number one service parts distribution network in the US may not in and of itself get the casual car shopper to choose the Swedish mark from the many other options in the "near luxury" category, but it certainly doesn't hurt.
At Servassist we are, of course, real proponents of automotive fixed operations, so it was nice just to see someone (in this case Carlisle & Company) take the time to figure out that there was a difference among the manufacturers. We strongly feel that it is the responsibility of the sales staff to sell someone their first vehicle, but it is the job of the service/parts team to sell them their second, third, fourth, etc...not to mention that longterm service experience at the dealership plays a critical importance in ownership/brand satisfaction. At a time when more and more people are concerned with maintenance issues and reliability of their vehicles, the ability to provide a seamless experience from check engine light to post-service delivery is essential.

This doesnt surprise me, Volvo is possibly the best and most reliable brand available. And safest too in my opinion!
